Swim Lessons

Hannah had her first swim lessons this year. The first day went surprisingly well, but at the end of the first lesson she dunked Hannah under the water for the first time, so the following days did not go as well. Hannah does not like going under the water at all, but she did learn to hold her breath when she goes under, to kick, and to hold on to the edge. So overall I'd say it was a success :)

She loved playing in this little pool with her little friends when it was the big kids turn to swim

But this was definitely her favorite part, an ice cream cone at the end!

Halloween Cookies

This was Hannahs first time decorating cookies so I wasn't sure how it was going to go but she seemed to have a good time and didn't make too much of a mess. Of course it was too much work to make real sugar cookies so Imade the ones out of a box. They didn't taste as good but she didn't seem to care.

I think the sprinkles were her favorite part.

Catch up

I figured since it has been about 5 months since I last posted anything I should put some new pictures up. However, the pictures are in reverse order so the top picture is the newest and the bottom picture was a couple of months ago. So here is a very brief catch up. The first pictures are from Hawes Farm.

Out in the pumpkin patch. She was not very cooperative for pictures this year. I thought that part would get easier as she got older, but I guess not.

This year they had pony rides, which she got to do twice. I didn't think she would like it because she used to be terrified of horses, but I guess she has gotten more brave. I am not sure why she is pointing in so many of these pictures.

It looks like they are having a staring contest. They had food for the goats there and we tried to get her to feed them but that was as close as she was going to get

I love the background of this picture, too bad she wouldn't cooperate. This is the only picture where she is even looking at the camera. We had a lot of fun, but it was hot so we didn't stay for too long. They had lots more fun stuff to do too, but I figured this was enough pictures. :)

A couple of months ago we bought Hannah this little car. She LOVES it!!! And if anyone is ever missing keys, they are usually in the ignition of her car. On this particular day though she decided she needed to take her baby for a ride. Shes got the driving thing down, shes backing up in this picture.

Here she is putting her baby in the car, it was supposed to be first but I can never get the order right when I'm uploading. Later she was trying to put her doll stroller in the back of the car, it was hilarious but I didn't get any pictures.

And this was a very exciting day, pigtails!!! Although it was technically the second time she had worn pigtails.

Weekend Vacation

This past weekend we went with some of our friends to Six Flags and San Francisco. It was lots of fun! We stopped at the Jelly Belly factory on the way down which I had never done before. Then on to Six Flags for the day. Hannah loved all the rides, as soon as we would sit down on a ride she would start saying "Weeeeee" and as soon as we got off the first ride she threw a fit because she didn't want ot leave. But she soon realized there were lots of fun rides to go on. She liked the swings that swing out high and wide and the helicopters that go up and down, yet she was terrified of the Merry-Go-Round. She has a fear of rocking horses, I'm not sure why, but she was not thrilled about sitting on a Zebra on the ride. She had a death grip on me for the entire ride. The next day we went around San Francisco. Shopping downtown, Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, Union Square, Chinatown, and Ghiradelli Square. On our way home the next day we went to a place called Muir Beach which was awesome. Anyways, here are some pictures from our trip. (Well quite a few actually :) )

Seeing her Easter basket for the first time. Thats Hannahs bed, we had to switch her to a twin mattress a little earlier than we planned because she hated her crib so much. But she is sleeping better now.

She was perfectly happy with one egg. After she got it we opened it and showed what was inside (a candy necklace) thinking it would make her want to find more but she just wanted her necklace and she was done.

Better Late Than Never

So I am way behind on posts, I can't believe I have not posted anything since before Hannah's birthday! So I will try and do a couple of posts today to catch up. So I guess I will start with Hannah's birthday and Valentines day since they are only a few days apart.

I made this playhouse for Hannahs Birthday, it was quite the project! This side has a tree with apples that you can pick (that is what Cohen is holding above his head) and a barrel to put them in. The back has a dog house and door and the other side has a garden with different vegetables you can pick. And the next picture is a picture of the front. It took forever to make but the kids all loved it.

First of all, I never could figure out how to upload the video of her walking. So anyways, one of Hannahs favorite things to do is to go in the pantry and get herself a snack. If someone leaves the door open, she heads straight for it and starts pulling boxes off the shelf looking for a treat. She will grab a box, pull out whatever is inside, if she wants it she eats it, if not she throws it on the ground and grabs another box. However her new favorite thing to do is just empty the contents on the ground and play with them. The other pictures are of her eating yogurt, she loves yogurt. I was feeding her the other day and she kept trying to do it herself and since she was headed for the bath afterwards anyways, I stripped her down and let her have at it. It was quite the mess.

Walking Girl

About 2 months ago Hannah started to take a step or two, but since then has wanted nothing to do with walking. She is very stubborn :). Then a couple of weeks ago she started standing up all by herself without grabbing onto anything, so I figured it was just a matter of time before she started walking. And yesterday it happened. She just stood up and started walking. And by today she was a pro. She could walk across the room without falling! I have videos, but we got a new camera for Christmas and I can't figure out how to get the videos uploaded. So I'll work on it and hopefully get the video up soon.

Santa

So these pictures were taken in the reverse order that they are shown but I don't know how to fix that. Anyways, I thought that Hannah was going to have no problem sitting on Santas lap because she doesn't usually care who is holding her. She was okay for a second but then she made the saddest face I have ever seen and started crying. I don't think she is a fan of Santa. The pictures just don't do it justice. But Santa always comes to visit the Wilson grandkids on Christmas eve so we will see how it goes in round two.

I got these jammies for Hannah the other day and I think they are just the cutest!! Hannah is standing now on her own, I don't have any pictures though because I seem to have misplaced my camera charger so my camera has been dead for the last week. She kind of tries to take steps but she falls forward, shes not quite there yet. But I think she will be taking real steps by Christmas! I don't know when she got so big :(

Well, Hannah and I have been sick for the last week. It has not been a pleasant experience, but today we were finally feeling much better. So we decided to go to Hawes Farm. We went to a pumpkin patch when we were in Denver, but Hannah slept through the whole experience. So I thought I would give it another try here. It was a lot of fun and we got a lot of super cute pictures. Sorry there are so many, I couldn't narrow it down anymore. On a side note, Hannah is 8 months old now. She weighs 17.4 pounds and is 28.5 in long. She is getting so big!!

7 Months Old!

Hannah turned 7 months old on Friday! I cannot believe how fast the time is going by! Here are a few pictures we took of her this afternoon. More bucket pictures. I just love that little bucket, so as long as she fits in it I will be taking pictures in it!

I love this one, her face just cracks me up. It just doesn't look like a babys expression. She is getting so big

So I have been terrible about blogging latley. I think the reason is because it is hard to take pictures now because Hannah is always on the move, she hates to sit still. I guess 6 months of immobility will do that to you. :) Anyways, she is scooting all over the place. And when she sees something she wants, she can really move! She is wearing a dress in thses pictures but I think those days are over, at least for a little while. She gets mad because they just get in her way. Hannah also has two teeth now! I just cannot believe how fast she is growing. I never did post her six month stats, so now that she is almost seven months I guess I will get to that. She was 16.7 lbs and 27 inches long. Here are a few pictures I took of her this afternoon.

Hannah turned 6 months old on Tuesday! I cannot believe it has been that long! She is getting so big and it seems like shes changing every day, it's crazy! She has not gone to the doctor so I am not sure how big she is but I will post it after we go.

New Tricks

Hannah has learned a few new tricks lately. She started scooting a couple of days ago! I had a video of it but I can't figure out how to upload it to the computer, eventually I will figure it out and upload it. She can also sit up by herself for about a minute before falling over. She cannot get into sitting position on her own but if you set her there she will sit. Here are a few pictures of that.

Hannah is going to be 6 months old next week, which is crazy! So we went and got her pictures taken today. She was grumpy all morning so I was nervous about how the pictures were going to turn out. But she did so good! She was laughing and smiling and having a great time! I may be a little biased, but I think they turned out pretty darn cute! Here are just a few.

We have taken Hannah swimming a couple of times but she has never really cared about it one way or the other. So when we took her today we tried putting her in this little floating baby raft thing. ( Yes I believe that is the technical term) She absolutely loved it, she got a big smile on her face and started laughing. I think she is going to be a little swimmer.

We decided that since Hannah will soon be 5 months we were going to try giving her some rice cereal. She wasn't really sure what to do with it, she spit most of it out, but I think she may have gotten a little bit down.

I bought this bucket a couple of months ago to take Hannahs picture in but she was to little at the time to sit in it. So I thought I would give it anothr try today and she fit just perfectly. A New Carseat Cover

When I picked out Hannahs carseat the practical side of me told me that I should get a nuetral one so if that if I had a boy later down the road I would not have to buy a new one. But whenever I saw those cute little girly carseats I would get a little jealous. So when I saw on someones blog the other day that they made carseat covers I thought I can do that. How have I never thought of this before? It's not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty cute. So here are the before and after pictures.

4 Months Old!

Hannah is four months old today! She had her four month check-up and got her second round of shots, which has been a very traumatic experience. She is whimpering even in her sleep, it is very sad. But she has grown a lot, she is getting so big! She is 26.5 inches long (above the 95th percentile) and weighs 14 lbs 4 oz (between the 50th and 75th percentile). This is a really fun age though, she started laughing a couple of weeks ago and she loves playing with her toys now. This picture is from a couple of weeks ago, it looks like she is trying to give you a hug! :)

One of the best things about having a girl are all the cute little outfits and accessories. She has way more sunglasses, hats, and bows than any baby needs

It has been a busy summer so far, my litttle brother Adam got home from his mission in Guatemala, and the day before that Drew's little brother Tanner went into the MTC. (He is going to Mexico) So we have had a lot of family in town and have been really busy. I cannot believe that Hannah is going to be 3 months old tomorrow! It has gone by so fast and she is getting so big! We went to the doctor last week and she weighs 12 lbs 9 oz and is 25 inches long. At 2 months she was 11 lbs 9 oz and 23.5 inches long. She is growing too fast! So here are some random pictures from the last month or so.

These are pictures from Hannahs first visit to the doctor last week. As you can tell she was really phased by it. :)

At almost 3 weeks she was 21.5 inches (an inch longer than birth)

and she weighed 9 lbs 3 oz (1.5 lbs more than birth)

She is quite the little piglet.

Hannah Jane Wilson was born on Wednesday, February 18th at 6:09 pm. She was 20.5 inches long and weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces.

It's A Girl!!

Here are two of the ultrasound pictures we got when we found out that we were having a girl. They are at 19 weeks. In one she is sucking her thumb but it looks a little bit like she is waving so the ultrasound technician put the caption on it for us. In the other one she looks like a monkey, I hope she grows out of that. :)
